Abstract
We read the publication on “Analysis of retracted articles in the field of Gastroenterology.” Only a few retractions were due to honest errors, according to Jiang et al., who searched the Retraction Watch database for retracted studies in the field of gastroenterology and found that many articles were retracted for authors committing some type of misconduct.
